Iain Robinson
I first experienced the quarries of Eryri on a school trip in the 1960s- seeing the South Snowdon Quarry incline soaring to the skyline fascinated me and I wanted to know more. This web site is the result of my curiosity.

I've had a lifelong interest in mines, quarries and industry generally...interrupted by a career in the advertising industry and in modelmaking.

My first proper camera was a Canon Ftb, I currently use a Nikon DSLR.

I've lived in Scotland for most of my life, but for the last 18 years, I have been settled in the best place in the world...Wales, with my lovely partner, Petra Brown.
